Rex has just announced new services between Brisbane and both Melbourne and Sydney.

In time for the Queensland border re-opening, Brisbane to Melbourne flights will commence on Friday, 17 December. Brisbane to Sydney flights start on the following Monday, 20 December 21.

The services will be operated by Boeing 737-800NG aircraft. This aircraft type has a total of 176 seats, with 8 seats in Business Class and 168 Economy seats, including 30 seats with ‘Rextra legroom’.

All fares include a free checked baggage allowance as well as a snack, water and a choice of tea or coffee onboard. Business Class passengers will be served a meal with a selection of juice, soft drink, red and white wine or beer.

To celebrate the new Brisbane flights, seats are now on sale from $69* between Sydney and Brisbane and from $79* between Melbourne and Brisbane.

These special fares are on sale until Tuesday, November 30 for travel up until 30 April, 2022. Importantly for those looking to have a December getaway, there are no Christmas holiday blackout dates.
