Onboard with Philippine Airlines in Brisbane
The CBT team recently joined Philippine Airlines for an aircraft inspection and product update at Brisbane Airport, taking a closer look at the experience available for travellers flying between Brisbane and Manila.
Philippine Airlines operates direct services between Brisbane and Manila using its Airbus A321neo Long Range aircraft, featuring 12 Business Class seats and 156 Economy Class seats.
Business Class offers fully flat-bed seats in a 2-2 configuration, providing plenty of space and comfort for the journey to Manila.
We also visited the nearby Plaza Premium Lounge, currently available to eligible Business Class passengers and travellers who purchase lounge access. It offers food and beverage options, shower facilities and, most importantly, a spinning pancake machine — easily one of the better airport inventions!
Philippine Airlines is also progressing towards joining the oneworld alliance, which will bring further benefits and connectivity for frequent flyers.
A big thank you to Philippine Airlines for hosting us and giving the CBT team the opportunity to experience the product first hand.
