Jetstar to charge for overhead carry-on luggage

Jetstar travellers – this one’s worth knowing! 

Jetstar is updating its carry-on baggage policy for travel from 2 February 2027.

From today, new bookings for travel from 2 February 2027 will include:

👜 1 x under-seat bag (included with every fare)

Need to use the overhead locker?

✈️ You’ll need Priority Carry-On (or an eligible Economy bundle), which includes:
• 1 x overhead cabin bag
• Plus your included under-seat bag

No individual carry-on bag may weigh more than 10kg.

✅ No changes apply to travel on or before 1 February 2027.
