Jetstar Launches Brisbane–Western Sydney Flights
Travelling between Brisbane and Western Sydney just got easier! Jetstar has launched a new direct service, giving business and leisure travellers more choice when flying between Queensland and New South Wales.
The new route commenced on 27 October 2026, connecting Brisbane Airport with Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport.
Jetstar operates three flights per week using its Airbus A320 aircraft. As a result, travellers now have another convenient way to reach one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions.
Better Connections for Business and Leisure Travellers
The new service is expected to add approximately 58,000 seats each year between Brisbane and Western Sydney.
For business travellers, the route provides easier access to Western Sydney’s growing commercial and business precincts.
Meanwhile, leisure travellers can enjoy another option for visiting family, exploring the region or planning their next getaway.
Western Sydney International Airport officially opened to passengers on 25 October 2026. The new 24-hour airport is designed to support Australia’s growing demand for domestic and international travel.
More Choice for Australian Travellers
Jetstar’s new route is part of a broader expansion of domestic services at Western Sydney International Airport.
In addition, Qantas plans to introduce Brisbane to Western Sydney flights in March 2027.
These new connections will give travellers more flexibility when planning their journeys, particularly those heading to Western Sydney and surrounding areas.
