Hostplus Cup 2026 Country Week wrap up

One week on, and what a successful Country Week for QRL!

14 teams. 7 regional destinations. Nearly 16,000 km of travel. One weekend.

As a travel provider for QRL, CBT was proud to coordinate the movement of more than 550 players, support staff, QRL VIPs and match officials across Queensland for Country Week 2026.

From flights and buses to accommodation and meals, there were plenty of moving parts behind the scenes to make sure teams arrived where they needed to be, had somewhere to stay and were fuelled and ready for game day.

And when you’re moving large groups into regional towns, accommodation isn’t always easy to come by!

A huge shout-out to the hotels, motels, cafés, transport operators and local suppliers who worked with us to make it happen. Your support helped us get hundreds of people into the regions and ready for a great weekend of footy.
