Broncos Fans Take on the UK for World Club Challenge
In February, a group of 45 passionate Brisbane Broncos supporters embarked on the trip of a lifetime, travelling to the United Kingdom for the Broncos World Club Challenge in Hull with CBT. This unforgettable journey blended elite rugby league access with iconic UK destinations, memorable experiences, and lifelong memories.
The group departed Brisbane on 13 February, beginning an action‑packed itinerary that included stops in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Hull, and Manchester. For many travellers, it was their first time visiting the UK, and for some, even their first time seeing snow – a highlight that quickly became a shared moment of excitement!
A Journey Through Iconic Destinations
The early part of the tour immersed travellers in Scotland’s rich history and culture, with highlights including a whisky distillery tour and tasting, a visit to Edinburgh Castle, and a stop at the impressive Kelpies, the 30‑metre‑high horse head sculptures.
After time in Edinburgh, the group travelled to Hull, the heart of the World Club Challenge experience. Here, fans enjoyed a guided Hull city tour and local pub visit, soaking up the atmosphere alongside fellow rugby league supporters.
Adding to the excitement, the group attended the Broncos’ captain’s run, where they had the opportunity to meet and speak with head coach Michael Maguire, gaining valuable insight into match preparation.

The journey continued to Manchester, where travellers enjoyed a Manchester City Stadium tour and match, as well as a visit to York for a city tour.
