Great day out at Brisbane Airport with Air New Zealand

A few of the team at CBT had the opportunity to tour the Air NZ Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, along with an aircraft and lounge inspection (complete with hi-vis, of course).

What made this visit especially unique was that we were onboard during the aircraft turnaround. It gave us a rare chance to observe operations in real time – seeing the coordination, precision and teamwork required to deliver a seamless travel experience from check-in through to disembarkation.

Even better, we were able to spend time with the cabin crew while they were preparing for their next flight. Their warmth and professionalism really stood out—something the team have always admired about Air New Zealand. Even on a tight schedule, they made time to chat and share insights into their roles.

Experiences like this are a great reminder of the complexity behind aviation operations and the people who make it all come together seamlessly. The Dreamliner continues to be a fantastic option across the network—from trans-Tasman routes to long-haul destinations like Houston—delivering comfort and efficiency for travellers.
