Virgin Australia has issued an important notice regarding the airline’s ‘No Show’ conditions.
The carrier has advised they are updating their ‘no show’ conditions to permit any guest who fails to board a confirmed Virgin Australia flight up until 11.59pm on 8 April 2020 to request to have the value of their ticket placed into credit.
All guests travelling from 9 April 2020 onwards that ‘no show’ will be subject to the original rules/conditions of the fare they purchased.
To avoid incurring this penalty from 9 April 2020 onwards, please ensure you update your reservation if you do not intend to travel.
For guests who no longer wish to travel, your flights can be rescheduled without incurring change fees. Fare differences will be applied to tickets of a higher value. If you wish to cancel, the value of your ticket can be retained in credit for 12 months from original issue for travel for a further year (1 year) from ticket exchange date.
The important reminder is to reconfirm or cancel any booking ahead of the departure date.
Please don’t hesitate to contact your CBT team for more information and conditions pertaining to Virgin Australia’s COVID-19 travel policies.
